This project aims to develop a technology platform using RFID/NFC to make medical therapies safer and more efficient. A pilot in oncology will test secure drug identification to prevent errors and simplify clinical workflows. The project also prepares regulatory and certification pathways to enable wider healthcare use.
These issues are being addressed in a total of four work packages in collaboration with our partners, NXP and Dresden University of Technology/Medical Clinic 1.
